Mrs. DeBoer's Coaching Career

        Since the beginning of high school volleyball in Miller South Dakota in 1991, I have been involved with the Miller Rustler volleyball program. The first two years I was an assistant and now have been head coach for the past twelve years. 

Record:  During those sixteen seasons, I have compiled a career total of 383-132-2 as Miller’s head coach. 

District and Region Championships:  I have coached twelve District Championship teams (95, 97, 98, 99, 2000, 2001, 2002,2003, 2006,  2007, 2008 and 2009) and seven Region Championship teams (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2008, and 2009).  

State Tournaments:  The Miller Rustlers have made seven State A Tournament appearances: 2000-2^nd, 2001-7^th, 2002-5^th,2003-4^{th, and 2007-4th}, 2008 -6th, and 2009-3rd. 

Awards:  Fivetimes I have been honored as SDVBCA Region 5 Coach of the Year in 96, 99, 2002, 2003, and 2008.

All-Star Coach:  In 2000 I also was selected as head coach for the North All-Stars, and I was assistant coach to the SD North All-Stars in 2002.

 Class A Representative:  In 2003, I was voted on as the SDVBCA Class A Representative and Executive committee member overseeing such responsibilities as Class A rep., Class A all state nominations and voting, Miss Volleyball, and SDVBCA scholarship applications and recipients. In 2007, I was nominated President-elect to the SDVBCA.  In 2009, I became the president of the SDVBCA.

 Other responsibilities and duties:  I have also volunteered to keep statistics at several State volleyball tournaments and have chosen several All-Tournament teams. 

  Camp Clinician:  I have hosted and been a clinician at several volleyball camps in the Miller area for many years.
